In NIH Toolbox V3 and NIH Toolbox V2 versions 1.17 and later, it is possible to rescore data for completed assessments based on updated demographics. For instance, if a demographic variable was entered incorrectly, it can be updated and the completed assessment data rescored based on the up-to-date information. To do this, navigate to that participant's screen, then tap the Edit button to make any necessary changes to the demographics, then save. Re-opening the score report within the app or exporting any data for that participant will trigger the app to use the updated demographics to rescore any impacted scores.
Please note that changes to the participant's Education Level, Mother's Education, Father's Education, Guardian's Education, and Start Point Override must be edited in the participant snapshot. Updating the main demographics information for the participant will only impact new assessments.
Instructions for the NIH Toolbox V2 app:
Go to "Participants" and select the participant you want to update.
Go to "Assessments" tab for that participant and expand the assessment you would like to rescore.
Select view next to "Participant information as of" then press edit and update education or Start Point Override , and then press "Done".
Then re export .
