Access to certain tests within the NIH Toolbox® and NIH Baby Toolbox® apps, as well as their associated documentation on this website, requires prior approval.
The NIH Toolbox and NIH Baby Toolbox tests have been developed in compliance with the Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing (2014), a joint publication by the American Psychological Association, the American Educational Research Association, and the National Council on Measurement in Education. In alignment with these standards, test users must possess the necessary knowledge, skills, training, and experience to responsibly administer, score, interpret, and communicate test results. "Test users" refers to individuals who are responsible for the selection, administration, scoring, interpretation, and communication of the tests' outcomes.
If you have previously been granted Cognition Unlock Access, this access will be valid for both the NIH Toolbox V2 app, NIH Toolbox V3 app, and Baby Toolbox. However, you will need to create an account on our website in order to access the resources.
To set up an account, please visit https://resources.nihtoolbox.org/ and request Cognition Access to gain access to all necessary resources. If your intention is to exclusively use Baby Toolbox, you may apply for B-Level Access only via this platform.
