Fully-Adjusted T-Scores are available for select Motor and Sensation tests.
Given the evolving research and literature over the past decade, many groups, such as those in education and I/O psychology, are moving away from race-adjusted normative data. For example, the AACN “supports the elimination of race as a variable in demographically-based normative test interpretation” (https://theaacn.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/AACN-Position-Statement-on-Race-Norms.pdf).
For NIH Toolbox V3 Cognition tests, fully-adjusted scores have been replaced with Age- and Education-Adjusted T-Scores. Please note that this score is for participants ages 18+ only. For more information, please refer to the NIH Toolbox V3 Technical Manual.
We are evaluating whether to produce a supplement in the future that includes age, education level, and race, though this would mainly be to support those who have collected NIH Toolbox V2 data and are looking to move to the NIH Toolbox V3 app.
