NIH Toolbox V2 normative data were collected and calculated using participants' sex assigned at birth. To most closely reflect the normative data, please enter participants' sex assigned at birth in the "Gender" field if you would like to receive Fully-Demographically Corrected T Scores. Please note that this field is optional, and you can still receive the following normed scores if this is left blank: Raw/Theta, Uncorrected Standard Scores, and Age-Corrected Standard Scores.
The "Gender" field has been renamed to "Sex Assigned at Birth" in NIH Toolbox V3. Only select tests in the Motor and Sensation domains use sex assigned at birth in the scoring algorithms for fully-adjusted scores. This field is optional in V3 and does not impact test administration.
In both V2 and V3, you have the option to change what is entered for the participant's demographic information; if demographic information is changed, previously administered tests will be automatically rescored when score reports and/or exports are regenerated.
