NIH Toolbox item-level data is displayed in the "ItemExport" file in NIH Toolbox V3 and in the "Assessment Data" file in NIH Toolbox V2. For Picture Sequence Memory (PSM), the ItemID column lists items in the order they were presented and the Response column records the slot in which the image was placed.
Using the 4-picture practice item as an example, the ItemID column lists the items in order, where Pic1 was presented first, then Pic2, Pic3, and finally Pic4. The Response column shows where that picture was placed. In the example below, Pic1 was placed in the 1st slot and was scored as correct (1 point). Pic2 was placed in the 3rd slot, which was incorrect and received a score of 0. Pic3 was placed in the 2nd slot, which was incorrect and received a score of 0. Pic4 was placed in the 4th slot and received a score of 1 because it was correct.
