If you want to remove your active NIH Toolbox V3 subscription from a device you do not have access to (e.g., lost, stolen, broken), please reach out to NIH Toolbox Customer Support at help@nihtoolbox.org. You will need to provide the App Receipt Identifier to Customer Support. After Customer Support verifies you are an authorized user, you must reset your Apple ID password. Then they can unpair all devices associated with that subscription. You will need to update the Apple ID password on each device, then restore your subscription. To restore your subscription, open the app, tap on “Settings”, then “Subscription Status”, then “More Option”, then “I Already Have A Subscription”.
Deleting the app is NOT required for this process. Note that deleting the NIH Toolbox app from your device will also delete any data you have collected on that device. If you need to delete the app, you must first export all data.
