What can I do in the app without a subscription?

Without an NIH Toolbox V3 subscription, you can view the list of NIH Toolbox tests, view preset batteries, create participants, create assessments, and administer tests. A Cognition approval code is required to administer tests in the Cognition domain.

Please be aware that data will not be saved without an active subscription, and therefore you will not be able to view reports or export data.

If your subscription has expired, you can continue to export data that was collected with an active subscription, but you will not be able to administer any new or partially-completed tests.
